Position Description

The Senior Software Engineers at Recuro help create the future of digital care. We are tackling some of the biggest challenges in healthcare, and this role is an opportunity to accelerate your career in a high-growth company.

Your Role and responsibilities Includes:

  • Using natural language understanding to better assess patient needs and help physicians make better decisions.
  • Optimizing user experiences to reduce clinical inefficiency and patient frustration.
  • Leveraging the latest machine learning and statistical techniques to surface clinical insights from genetic, demographic, and patient historical data.
  • Reducing data friction and increasing clinical accuracy by making systems interoperable.
  • Enabling patients to take charge of their data and develop unified patient records across health systems.
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Writing intuitive, clean user interfaces for web and native mobile applications.
  • Experience writing automated tests at any layer, but especially integration or e2e testing.
  • Working knowledge of computer science fundamentals such as classical algorithms, complexity theory, and common data structures. We welcome self-taught people and bootcamp grads, though we encourage ongoing learning of theory.

Bonus if:

  • You have familiarity or previous experience with the unique challenges of healthcare and health technology.
  • Strong understanding of web and mobile technologies, and how they communicate.
  • Experience writing automated tests at any layer, but especially integration or e2e testing.
  • You have experience with non-relational data, document databases, or functional programming.
  • You have experience with developing mobile applications, either directly or through abstractions like React Native or Flutter.
  • You have experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, or DevOps.
  • You have worked at a startup.
  • You have a side project or hobby that you can’t wait to share.
