Expanded Digital Care Platform Enhances Virtual Primary Care and Behavioral Health Solutions
We are pleased to announce that Recuro Health recently acquired SupDoc, an AI-enabled virtual health solution that offers a holistic and cost-effective model for care delivery. SupDoc will enhance Recuro’s digital health platform, a curated suite of telehealth solutions that enables consumers to engage with physicians, receive personalized care and monitor their own health, no matter their location or circumstance.
Specifically, the acquisition allows the Recuro digital health platform to seamlessly integrate additional capabilities—such as behavioral health solutions—to meet an individual’s holistic healthcare needs. The integration of physical and behavioral health is essential in delivering better health outcomes and more personalized care. With the rise in mental health issues during the pandemic, the need for integrated care is even greater.
Before the pandemic, 1 in 10 adults reported symptoms of anxiety or depressive disorder due to stress and isolation during the pandemic, compared to 1 in 3 adults post-pandemic, according to a survey from the U.S. Census Bureau and other federal agencies.
